Also known as the “Panhandle” of Cyprus, The Karpas has got to be one of the last remaining areas of unspoilt beauty on the island.
It’s a bit of a trek to get there – about 3 hours from Lapta – so if you go, consider an overnight stay to break up your journey and make the most of your time in this region.
The Karpas is famous for its wild donkeys which you’ll see roaming around, as well as its unspoilt, deserted beaches.
